Danger Zone for the 9/30-10/2 weekend

Friday Sept. 30th.

Person Shot 800 block of E Hammer Lane 10:19pm

A 23-year-old male was walking on Knickerbocker to his girlfriend’s house when he noticed a car following him. The car parked at Tam O’Shanter and Knickerbocker and waited for him to pass by. When he did, a chubby black male with a mustache in his mid-20s sitting in the rear passenger seat said “Hey.” When the victim turned around he was fired upon. Victim heard four more shots as he ran to his girlfriend’s house to dial 911.

Saturday Oct. 1st

Person Shot 2200 block of S Lincoln St 6:00pm

A 24-year-old male was in the park when he heard 4-5 gunshots and realized he had been shot. No cars or potential suspects were visible.

Sunday Oct. 2nd

Animal Cruelty Arrest 24 W. Jamestown St 5:30am

An 18-year-old male was angry with his girlfriend and took it out on their 6-week-old puppy. Brian Torres allegedly threw the puppy against the wall multiple times, choked it, then threw it over the fence. The puppy could not be located but police collected evidence and arrested Torres.
