No significant incidents reported

Saturday Oct. 8th

Stabbing 1100 block of W Sonora St 9:00pm

A 25-year-old male was drinking with is 23-year-old friend when his friend literally stabbed him in the back with a kitchen knife without provocation. Victim’s wound was superficial and he declined medical attention.

Person Shot/Robbery 800 block of S Sutter St 9:39pm

A 31-year-old male was walking with his friend when they were confronted by two black males age 18-20 (both 5’9″ 160-170), one with a handgun, who demanded money. When the victim said he didn’t have any he was shot in the torso and the suspects fled. Victim was taken to hospital for treatment on non-life threatening injury.

Sunday Oct. 9th

Homicide 2041 E Main St 4:32pm

Officers responding to a call found two shooting victims lying in a parking lot. One victim, a 22-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, a 19-year-old male, is in stable condition in the hospital having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Police believe the incident was gang related.

Robbery/Person Shot 2800 block of Country Club Blvd 6:00pm

A 23-year-old male was walking in the area when he was approached by 3 black males ages 22-23. They took his cash and shot him in the leg once. Victim declined to cooperate any further with the investigation and was taken to the hospital for treatment on non-life threatening wounds.

  1. I can’t believe that Stockton made it thru a whole day without significant incidents.

    • It happens more often than you think. It’s more because of what PD defines as “significant”. Plus, PD didn’t send out a Night Watch report for Friday this weekend. Or at least I didn’t get it.
